In his first run at Circuit de la Sarthe, Cooper MacNeil put in three strong stints totaling nearly seven hours of drive time around the 8.4-mile French circuit.
The #50 car sits fifth in LM GTE An class while the #70 remains further back but still in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race.
Cooper MacNeil: "I was focused on running a good pace, trying to do consistent lap times,"
The team’s decision to end its qualifying session early when the track was at its fastest also undoubtedly contributed to both cars’ grid positions.
Cooper MacNeil will join Larbre Competition in the No. 70 WeatherTech/Chevrolet Corvette C6.R for his 24 Hours of Le Mans debut
