On Friday at 15h30, surfers will discover a new internet site totally devoted to the Le Mans 24 Hours. All the ACO portals have been reset to provide the ACO events as well as all its services and branches with greater clarity and readability.

At the press conference for the presentation of entries for the 2013 Le Mans 24 Hours and the FIA World Endurance Championship, which will take place in the Eutosites-George V premises in Paris, fans the whole world over will discover a new internet site: 24h-lemans.

It has been designed by the New Media Services of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest with its technical partners: SQLI (design), 6TM (development), Oceanet Technology (hosting) and La Fourmi (graphic chart and strategy), and this portal provides surfers with all the information they need about the race.

Not only will the fans find all the right headings to follow the event – latest news, entries, tickets, live timing, derived products, etc – but above all less knowledgeable spectators will find easy, simple and intuitive navigation to help them discover the Le Mans 24 Hours, see the programming of festive and sporting events in real time, find out information about access to Le Mans and the 24-Hours circuit, understand the ticket system, discover the range of derived products and find their way around the inside of the circuit...

They can also obtain information about track baptisms during the Le Mans 24-Hours week, kart sessions, the ACO schools’ activities through which they can learn about competition driving.

Like the site 24h-lemans the Automobile Club de l’Ouest will open portals dedicated to its other 24-hour events: 24h-moto, 24-karting and 24h-camions – during 2013.

The well-known site lemans (4,850,000 visitors in 2012) launched in 1998, given a major revamp in 2010, will become the official club site.

It will be used mainly to enable people to discover the different services of the ACO – training courses, legal aid, boutiques, driving schools, karting, organization of events not connected with racing plus its branches (40 million car users, M&A Prevention, LMEM) as well as providing bridges to the sites lemans.driver, boutique.lemans.org, juridiqueauto.com, plus those of the Le Mans Championships in addition to all the competitions taking place at the Le Mans circuits throughout the year.

The ACO Web TV - lemans-tv - enjoyed a very successful launch in 2012 (2.4 million visitors during the Le Mans 24 Hours). It will continue in liaison with 24h-lemans and lemans to provide additional offers, video reports on request and live coverage of the events.

Rendezvous 1st February at 15h30 to discover 24h-lemans.

Live coverage powered by Michelin

The broadcast of the press conference during which the entries for the 2013 Le Mans 24 Hours and FIA World Endurance Championship will be announced, can be viewed on the new site 24h-lemans.com.

The broadcasting of the press conference hosted by Céline Girard from France 2 and Bruno Vandestick, the offical Le Mans 24-Hours commentator, has been made possible thanks to a partnership with Michelin.

It will start to air at 15h30 and the live streaming will finish at the end of the press conference. In 2012, more than 25000 visitors were able to follow this event live. It is eagerly awaited by motor sport fans and by all the teams to find out if they have been selected to take part in the 90th anniversary of the Le Mans 24-Hours race.
