Patrick Dempsey has done the Le Mans 24-Hours Web TV a great honour. The press conference he will give on Saturday 8th June at 14h00 will be broadcast live and in exclusivity on www.lemans-tv.com!
The American actor known worldwide for his role in the series Grey’s Anatomy will hold a single press conference in the context of his participation in the 2013 Le Mans 24 Hours. This meet-the-media session, which will take place inside the circuit, can be seen live on the Le Mans 24-Hours Web TV.
In preparation for the race on 22-23 June Dempsey and his squad will take part in the test day on Sunday 9th June, the general rehearsal for all the entrants.
It’s the American’s second outing in the Sarthe classic which, for him, is the ultimate in motor racing, after he took part in 2009 in a Ferrari F430 in which he finished thirtieth overall and ninth in category.
In 2012, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest launched the Le Mans 24-Hours Web TV service which met with huge success, as more than 3.2-million surfers throughout the world followed the race thanks to 28 hours’ live broadcasting!
This year the Le Mans 24-Hours Web TV has moved up a gear in partnership with Michelin and Rolex. It will provide live viewing of the two days’ scrutineering and admin. checks on 16-17 June, then the evening practice sessions on 19-20 June and the race on 22-23 June.
Additional information will also be provided thanks to which lovers of action from inside the car can experience the full intensity of the event thanks to the on-board cameras, and also discover the behind-the-scenes ambience, hear interviews with the main players in the race, relive previous events and immerge themselves in the festivities linked to the 90th anniversary of the 24 Hours.
They can also keep up to date with the latest information thanks to studio sessions hosted by well-known journalists and prestigious consultants, follow the classification in permanence and react through the ACO’s social networks.
In true American star style, Patrick Dempsey, surrounded by Joe Foster and Patrick Long, will open the antennae of the 2013 Le Mans 24-Hours this coming Saturday 8th June from 14h00 to 14h30.
