Peltier wins three of four!

Summit Point, WV-Preston Peltier captures three in a row boosting the Azzurro Wheels, CKT race team to the top! With a winning streak that began in Putnam, IN two weeks ago, Peltier entered round six of the WKA Dunlop Tire National Road Race Series with confidence. Quick off the trailer, Peltier zeroed in on the setup, fine tuning his chassis for the up coming race.

CIK Sprint 1 got under way with Peltier launching his CKT Honda powered CTS kart from the 12th position. Out braking the competition Peltier moved into the third position entering turn one. Taking the lead for the first lap Peltier would lead flag to flag being challenged several times but to no avail. Peltier went on to victory by 5.767 seconds over Rob Morris lll, Chad Donner, Chad Dokken, and Brian Davies rounding out the top five.

CIK Sprint 2 saw Peltier's winning streak slip away. With another great start the field scattered down pit road again with Peltier taking the lead this time from the 10th position. Peltier and teammate Lance Lane began to check out on the rest of the field. Just under half way, Peltier's streak went up in steam when a head gasket failed sending him to the pits early ending his day. Rob Morris lll took the win with Chad Dokken, Clark Gaynor, Randy Domikis, and Kyle Lawrence rounding out the top five.

"This is the most competitive I've seen road racing." Peltier said. "On any given race there are 6 to 8 karters that could win the race." He added.

Peltier will be racing a Super Late Model at the Concord Motorsports Park Aug 9 under the banner of Pattons Air Compressors, a local Charlotte company. We will continue to track Peltiers progress as he prepares to make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut later in the year.

Peltier is backed by Azzurro Wheels, Millennium Technologies, CKT Racing Engines, Aim Sports, MG Tires, RCE Pipes, V-Force and Shoney's Inn of Winchester VA
