"15-year-old will contend in multiple classes throughout '06"

Franklin, WI -- March 1, 2006 -- 15-Year-old Kristine Daggett is set to make her Stars of Kart debut in two weeks time when she will attend her first national level karting event in the Spec Racer division. Daggett will race a Parilla Leopard powered Merlin chassis as she sets her sights on victory.

Kristine caught the racing bug in 2005 when she got behind the wheel of her first racing kart. The youngster competed at Badger Raceway in Dousman, WI scoring several podium results on the way. In only in her second year of karting, Kristine will compete on several of the national level tracks throughout the eastern US.

Kristine is not new to the Motorsports scene as she has crewed for her fathers SCCA race team and volunteered as a worker when younger. In 1999 Kristine won the Major Minor Worker of the Year in the Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs for her work on the false grid.

Daggett will not only compete in the Stars of Karting series as the Prairie Ridge High School student will try her hand at the rest of the World Karting Association Manufactures Cup and Midwest Sprint Series. Kristine will compete in classes such as the Spec Racer, HPV Senior Lite and Heavy and TaG.
