Ellis sweeps WKA Enduro Summer Nationals.

23 Year Old Jason Ellis swept both WKA Sprint 125 Races at NHIS on June 28th - 30th. In Saturday's racing action Ellis jumped out to an early lead and never looked back taking the victory. Following him home was Brian Arcari and Corey Clayton.

Sunday's WKA 125 Sprint 2 Race Ellis again jumped out to an early lead followed by main rival and current points leader Preston Peltier in second place and Steve Mastine in third. On lap 3 Peltier made his move taking over the top spot. The next several laps where heated as Ellis looked for a way to pass Peltier. As the leaders came upon lapped traffic, Ellis took advantage of the situation and made his move, retaking the top spot. But with just three laps left his brakes locked slowing the Kart dramatically. This gave second place Steve Mastine a chance to close the gap. At the finish line Ellis took the flag over Mastine by only 0.226 seconds, followed in third by Corey Clayton.

Ellis said after the race "I was lucky it ended when it did because the Kart just would not move!" He went on to give a special thanks to "Extreme Sports Boston", "SwedeTech Racing Engines" and "Bettencort Honda".
