TIM MUSCH APPOINTED SNAP-ON STARS OF KARTING PRESENTED BY INDYCAR SERIES NATIONAL RACE DIRECTOR

Seattle , WA . -- April 24, 2007 -- The Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by IndyCar Series is pleased to announce the expansion of their competition department with the appointment of Tim Musch to the National Race Director position. Tim will be taking over the reigns from Kevin Williams who has been appointed as the new National Race Steward.

Mr. Musch will now be the eyes of the racing surface as he will be trackside analyzing all the racing action. Mr. Musch and Mr. Williams will be in direct contact with one another to discuss any on track incidents and assign penalties throughout the remainder of 2007. Musch is very excited to have been appointed to his new position, "I am thrilled to a part of the Snap-on Stars of Karting organization. It is an honor to be selected as the Race Director and I am looking forward to using my expertise and experience to support Kevin Williams, and to continue to grow the fabulous program that he and the Stars of Karting crew has built."

In a move that has been designed for the competitors, Mr. Williams' position and view of the track will be improved making it easier for him to assess on track incidents. Mr. Williams will also be more accessible to drivers and crew to discuss incidents, penalties and rulings should the need arise. With the duo of Musch and Williams, another set of eyes will be available to catch any unfortunate on track mishaps. Williams sees the addition as one that will help the racers of the Snap-on Stars of Karting Series, "With Tim joining our team, we are going to be able to monitor each and every race more closely, and communicate to the racers in a more clear manner the nature of our on-track competition decisions. It's a very positive move that will help us to conduct the on-track racing action more effectively."

Along with the National Race Steward title, Mr. Williams will also maintain his position as National Director of Competition.

The Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by IndyCar Series position changes will take effect immediately and will be present at the May 18-20 event at the New Castle Motorsports Park event in News Castle, Indiana.
