Canadian team to provide technical support for three drivers

TRIOS-RIVIERES, QB (April 24, 2008) -- Following a successful start to the 2008 Snap-on Stars of Karting Presented by IndyCar Series, PSL Karting will be traveling to Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah this weekend to support Kohilo Racing with drivers Fritz Leesmann, Josh Schreiber and Jordan Jadallah at the Western Division opener. The Canadian CRG importer will have owner Dominic Labrecque on hand along with his engine and chassis specialists to provide technical assistance for the three drivers.

Leesmann is coming off a victory at the first round of the Stars of Karting Eastern Division in Ocala, Florida and will be hungry for more. Battling wet conditions all weekend, Leesmann and the PSL Karting combination were up front challenging for the top spot. The first final saw Leesmann earn the checkered flag, his first Stars of Karting victory of his career. Unfortunately, a brake pedal failure in the second final cost Leesmann a chance at a second victory and valuable championship points in the process. The California driver will look to earn maximum points this weekend in Utah.

Joining Leesmann is PSL's new recruit, Josh Schreiber. The shifter kart veteran adjusted to his new CRG/Maxter package when the green flag fell for race time in Ocala. Schreiber climbed from 16th in the first final to finish a strong fifth, while trouble hit the Pennsylvania native while running near the top-10 in the second main. The aggressive and experienced Schreiber will be looking to contend for victories on the weekend as well.

Making his Stars of Karting JICA debut with the support from PSL will be young Jordan Jadallah. The Hillsborough, CA pilot has been honing his skills around the local and regional NorCal scene, as well as in the Champ Car Rotax Kart Challenge program. Most recently, the 15 year-old finished third overall in Junior Rotax in the three-weekend Gatorz Challenge of the Americas series. The Stars rookie will be using the experience of the PSL staff to produce strong results for the Kohilo Racing squad.

Following this weekend's event, the PSL Karting squad will focus all its efforts to the East versus West 'Race of the Americas' event, the second round for both divisions, which takes place at New Castle Motorsports Park on May 30-June 1.
