Cary, IL -- February 27, 2007 -- Looking to start the year off on the right foot, 16-Year-old Kristine Daggett made the switch to the Firstkart.com race team. The talented female competitor will contest in the East Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by IndyCar Series, the World Karting Association Manufacturers Cup series and select karting events throughout the Midwest.

In 2006, Daggett made her the jump to the national level and competed with some of the most profile names in North America karting. Her rookie season went just as planned as Kristine was able to garner the necessary experience to best prepare her for this coming season. '06 also provided Daggett with an opportunity to attend the Lyn St. James Driver Development Program where she became a graduate of the course as well as the winner of the Women in Sports Foundation Grant. The young female hopes to follow in the footsteps of the head instructor to someday make it to the world of professional open wheel racing. The new FirstKart.com driver is also a graduate of the 2006 Formula BMW licensing course in Valencia, Spain and was invited back for the scholarship shootout.

2007 plans on being a fairly busy schedule for the second year senior as Daggett will not only compete in the Snap-on Stars of Karting series but will also do battle in the World Karting Association Manufactures Cup and Midwest Sprint Series. Kristine will compete in classes such as the Spec Racer and TaG.

Kristine Daggett Racing would like to thank current sponsors, Lester Buildings, Light Fantastic and Shark Signs and Designs.
