Will Stevens Double Winner at Autosport Awards

Fresh from taking the Trophee Julie Tonelli a week Sunday in the JICA class at Brignoles race circuit near Marseilles, 13 year old Will Stevens collected 2 awards at Sunday night's Autosport Awards Dinner.

Will picked up the BRDC Perpetual Trophy in recognition for his outstanding achievements this year; the award is given by the British Racing Driver's Club to the driver who has shown the necessary qualities and potential to succeed at the highest level in Motorsport - the driver that has shown his talent both on and off the track.

"I was delighted to be awarded the BRDC Perpetual Trophy in recognition of my performances this season. I am determined to continue my progress next season when I step up into the JICA category with the JRP Intrepid Team."

Will also collected his BRDC Stars of Tomorrow Championship Winning Trophy for winning the Mini-Max class. He adds the trophy to his silverware gained from his Open Championship and KartMasters victories, making a unique treble in the highly competitive class.

Will's focus for 2005 is in combining a number of the big meetings in Europe with his attempt on both the Super 1 and BRDC Stars of Tomorrow Championships in the UK.
