TORONTO, ONTARIO -- The Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship presented by Toronto Star Wheels will be in action this weekend at Mosport on the Driver Development Track. This will be the fifth round -- of six -- for 2007.

Mosport will be the place to see all the stars of the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship -- both past and present. Karters are a big part of the weekend, as they will do battle in the 10 classes of the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship presented by Toronto Star Wheels. Heading into the weekend, Mike Vincec has the championship lead in three classes -- Rotax Shifter DD2, Formula Senior and Rotax Max Senior.

Also leading classes are; David Ostella in Rotax Junior, Richard Hibbs in F1K Senior, Vincent Rago in F1K Junior, Garret Grist in F1K Cadet, Evan Hayden in Canada Senior, Austin Milwain in Canada Junior Light and Gary Klutt in Canada Junior Heavy.

Series namesake, Ron Fellows will challenging for wins in both the ALMS race in his Compuware C6.R Corvette, and the Speed GT race in a factory Cadillac CTS-V.

Star Mazda is also part of the Mosport weekend. Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship and Sunoco Team Ultra 94 drivers Marco Di Leo and Devin Cunningham will be competing for the win.

Also on the Mosport weekend, SRFKC alumni Daniel Morad, Maxime Pelletier and Philip Major will be competing in the 2007 Formula BMW USA Championship. This is the final weekend for FBMW, and like last year where SRFKC alumni Robert Wickens was crowned champion, Daniel Morad heads into the weekend with a substantial points lead.

In addition, Morad, Pelletier and Major will host a question and answer period for karters of the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship at the Formula BMW hospitality area on Thursday night from 7-9 pm. "It will be a great opportunity to talk to the karters of the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship about the Formula BMW USA series," Major said.
