G-Phactory heads upstate to battle PKC North

June 10, 2008 (Huntington Beach, Calif.) -- With a few weeks of downtime before their next scheduled Stars of Karting race at Shawano, Wisconsin, G-Phactory drivers Adam Zeen, Andrick Zeen, and Ryan Yop are headed north to compete in the ProKart Challenge North race this weekend at the Jim Russell International Karting Center at Infineon Raceway.

This won't be the first time that the trio have competed at the facility, as they teamed up to race in the KartSport Grand Prix at the track last June. However, on this weekend, they will be among the group that will experience the famous Jim Russell International Karting Center in it's backwards configuration.

The Zeen brothers will be racing in TaG Senior, while Yop will be racing in the headlining S1 class. All will be aboard the latest, new-look Sodi Kart chassis.

"Our goal is always to be improving the Sodi product, and the best way to do that is under race conditions," said Phil Giebler. "When we found a bit of a gap in our schedule, the ProKart Challenge North race fit in well. It requires a minimal amount of work to convert our karts from their Stars of Karting spec, and allows us to stay sharp.

"It is also a chance to demonstrate the Sodi products in an untapped area for us, which is also exciting."
