Morad fourth in SuperNationals!
Daniel Morad's first Senior race marked with a podium in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NV Markham's Daniel Morad was happy with his fourth place finish in the SKUSA (Super Karts USA) SuperNationals Formula S1 division earlier today.

"I was quite happy for the first weekend," Morad said after the race. "I am happy with the new First Kart and with the SRA motors. I think it was a good tune up for next year. Paul (Lapierre) and I are still learning, but we'll get there."

Morad practiced well for the street race, but a broken chain on his third lap of qualifying saw him sixth on the grid.

Morad battled forward to come home a solid fourth in his first ICC race. "I was a little nervous ahead of time, but once I got here I settled down. The First Kart was really good, and the SRA Tm was awesome. This is a big race, and I am happy to be on the podium in my first ICC race."

Morad will now have a week off before heading to Florida, where he will put his Eastern championship on the line. The Snap On Stars of Karting National championship pits the best of the east against the best of the west with the winner being crowned National champion. "I am looking forward to that weekend, but right now I am still thinking about this one," Morad said.
