Chris Wehrheim Returns to the Driver's Seat

Current Super Kart Illustrated #2 ICA driver, Chris Wehrheim, will be returning to the driver's seat in two upcoming car races. This weekend Chris will make is debut in the Skip Barber National Series at Virginia International Raceway. This is the same track where Chris scored his first victory in the Skip Barber Midwestern Championship in 2005.

Two weekends after VIR, Chris will be traveling to Laguna Seca Raceway in California to participate in the opening round of the inaugural MX-5 Miata Cup with P1-Motorsports.

"I am really looking forward to getting back in a race car and focusing on my career," stated Wehrheim. "For the past few months I have focused my efforts on Rising Star Motorsports and with the success of that, I am able to make more of an effort with my racing."

Chris has also been tearing up the track in the WKA Manufacture's Cup for Team FMS/Safway with Adkins Speed Center. Recent results have put Chris firmly in title contention. Look for the redesigned in the coming weeks.
