(August 3, 2000) Pro Kart Indoors hosted the first 100-lap race on Saturday, July 22, as a follow-up event to the Firecracker 250 that was held on the 4th of July weekend.

Ten teams fielded the event with each team made up of two drivers, making 3 mandatory driver changes. Qualifying on the pole was the two-man team of Bryce Bernloehr and Jason Bernloehr.

The 100-lap event lasted nearly 50 minutes with a lot of close racing to be seen. When the checkered flag dropped, it was the two-man team of Benny Van Kleve and Bret Anderson that were to claim the victory.

Post race festivities, shown below, consisted of podium celebrations with the top three teams. Trophies were then handed out in victory circle, and once again, plans are in the works for the next 100 lap race at Minnesota's ONLY arrive and drive karting facility
