Town Hall meetings to resume at KartFest 2010
01.07.2010 -- World Karting officials have announced they will continue with the second edition of Town Hall meetings at KartFest 2010 on Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Carolinas First Center in Greenville, South Carolina. Following three very successful meetings last year in Hickory, North Carolina, it was agreed that the chance to assemble and discuss issues pertaining to the three major 4-cycle series of karting was indeed profitable for all.
By combining the Bully Clutches Gold Cup and Rage Karts Speedway Pavement Series banquets into a Saturday night bash, the early part of Saturday has been opened up, allowing for an earlier start to the meetings, still allowing many to view the plethora of exhibits. Doors for KartFest 2010 will open Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with the first scheduled meeting slated for the Gold Cup Series at 10:30 a.m.
Here is the time schedule for all three series:
Gold Cup - 10:30 am
Speedway Dirt - 12:30 pm
Speedway Pavement - 2:30 pm
The final meeting should be concluded well in time for many of the Speedway Pavement Series meeting participants to prepare for the evenings banquet festivities. Guests arriving to the Carolinas First Center are urged to pick up a copy of the seminar schedule to view the room location for the meetings.
