Spring Run, PA_ Violent morning storms forced a rainout of the Burris Racing kart and quad racing Saturday, May 10 at the Path Valley Speedway Park.

The regular weekly racing for karts and four-wheelers will resume next Saturday, May 17, as part of the weekend's Canned Food Drive benefit for Franklin County Food Banks.

Now in it's fourth year, the annual racing benefit will also be part of next Friday night's sprint and stock car show and next Saturday night's Strictly Stock racing for four, six and eight-cylinder junkyard cars.

Under the sponsorship of Burris Racing and sanctioned by the Burris National Speedway Series, 16 or more classes of karts and two classes of four-wheelers race every Saturday at Path Valley. Gates open at 10 a.m. For rules and a schedule see the track's Internet site at www.pathvalley.com.
