Denny Rinehimer, Bloomsburg, builds Hammer Racing Engines for several drivers at The Greenwood Valley Action Track and proved why on Saturday night in the feature event for 270cc micro sprints.  Rinehimer started the feature on the pole and stayed well ahead of the field right through the checkered flag.  A.J. Bast held on to second place as he traded position with Sean Stolz, Bloomsburg, who celebrated his graduation from high school earlier in the day with a third place finish.  Jake Starr, Millville, was fourth, Colby Womer, Mt. Pleasant Mills, fifth, and Brian Kishbaugh, Nescopeck was sixth.  Sean Good, Middleburg, Hoss Uhrin, Freeland, Shane Penny, Berwick and Joe Bednarski, Plymouth, rounded out the top ten.   Colby Womer has a habit of winning the 250cc sportsman micro sprint events at the Action Track and Saturday evening was no exception.  In the second spot was Jim Reese, Bloomsburg, while David Schuckers, Shickshinny, managed a third position, Scott Correll, also of Shickshinny, was fourth and Ron Metzgar, Bloomsburg was the final finisher.   In rookie action Todd Letteer, Millville, picked up his first feature win in the Demon chassis developed by Puterbaugh Motorsports located in Millville.  In the second position on the track at the checkered flag was Brian Brosius, Riverside, followed by Tim Suydam and Eric Bodine.  Deb Arner, Berwick, claimed the sixth spot with Whitney Heydenreich, Bloomsburg, seventh, Nate Snyder and Dave Fulton rounded out the field.   The Action Track would like to thank A.J. Walters and the A.J. Walters Trucking Company for sponsoring Kid's Night at the clay oval.  All the kids received trophies from A.J., himself a racer.  The Gates will open at 3 next Saturday for another evening of racing at the Greenwood Valley Action Track, located 3 ½ miles east of Millville just south of route 254.  Turn right on Oriole Rd. and right again on Bottom Rd. for a great, old fashioned, family outing at the racetrack.  See you at the Action Track.   GREENWOOD VALLEY ACTION TRACK
