Joe Bednarski is back!! Bednarski, a Plymouth resident, was The Action Track's Micro Sprint Champion more than once in the history of The Greenwood Valley Action Track. On Saturday night he came out of retirement and ran flag-to-flag at the head of the field. Colby Womer, Mt. Pleasant Mills, challenged Bednarski, settling for second place in the end. In the third spot was Shane Penny, Berwick, while fourth was Chad Thomas, New Berlin, and fifth was Ross Perchak, Hazelton. Rounding out the top ten were Sean Stolz, Bloomsburg; Jeff Furlong, Selinsgrove; Brian Kishbaugh, Nescopeck; Denny Rinehimer, Bloomsburg, and Jake Starr, Millville.

There was a small field of 250cc Sportsman Micro Sprints, but the Feature was a good one, especially for Joel VanBuskirk, Selinsgrove, who captured first. Brian Kishbaugh was second and brother, Scott Kishbaugh, both from Nescopeck, took the place and show spots. Jim Reese, Bloomsburg, was fourth, Kevin Hayle, Bloomsburg was fifth, and in sixth was Scott Correll, Shickshinny.

It is always a good day for a first time Feature winner, and Saturday at The Action Track was a great day for Caesar Bordo, Scranton, who lead nearly every lap. In second was Matt Bower, Selinsgrove, third, Nunzi Allegrucci, Jermyn, and in the fourth spot was Deb Arner, Berwick. Tim Suydam, Lehighton, took fifth place finish while Nate Snyder came in sixth. Tammy Schane, Hamlin, was seventh, Jared Schall, Hackettstown, NJ, was eighth, Britt Rider, Millville, ninth and Brian Zanalini, Zion Grove, tenth.

Join us at The Greenwood Valley Action Track, located 3 1/2 miles east of Millville just south of route 254. Follow Oriole Rd. to Bottom Rd. to The Action Track. The Friday following the Bloomsburg Fair, starting on the third Monday of September, will be the third in The Action Track's Figure Eight events. All divisions of Micro Sprints and Karts will be competing every Saturday night through the end of October. See you at The Action Track.
