It was a beautiful night for racing at The Greenwood Valley Action Track and it was a welcome change. Rain, cold weather and even snow has made the first few weeks at the track located 3 1/2 miles east of Millville, difficult. Jeff Furlong, Selinsgrove, lead most of the Feature event for Regular 270cc Micro Sprints after passing Pat Bealer, Seemsville, the outside pole sitter. Third in the race was Colby Womer, Mt. Pleasant Mills, forth place went to Joel VanBuskirk, Selinsgrove and fifth was Jason Rice, New Tripoli. In the sixth spot was Brayden Winters, Easton, in seventh it was Eric Heydenreich, Bloomsburg, and wrapping up the top ten it was Steve Lenig, Selinsgrove, Sean Good, Middleburg, and Denny Rinehimer, Bloomsburg.

Eight Micro Sprint 250cc started in the Sportsman Division and only four finished. The top spot was taken by Colby Womer, Rob Pajauis, Asbury, NJ was second, Jake Starr, Millville was third and Rod Faus, Orangeville, came in fourth.

In Rookie Micro Sprint action it was the third win in a row for Jason Harman who will be asked to move into the Regular Micro Sprint class if be wins one more before the year is over. In the second spot was Jake Starr, third was Britt Rider, Millville, and forth was taken by Timmy Buckwalter, Douglessville. The fifth position went to Dusty Jagger, Port Crane, NY, while Phil Weinsteiger, Green Lane came in sixth, Joe Hogan was seventh, and Bryan Terwilliger, Addison, NY, was eighth. The final two in the top ten were Ryan Pitt, Lebanon, and Terry Schane.

Next week the lawnmowers will be back at The Greenwood Valley Action Track along with the regular schedule of Karts, Slingshots, and Micro Sprints.
