On Victory Lane At Greenwood Valley

Colby Womer, Mt. Pleasant Mills, drove to another victory in the Feature event for 270cc Micro Sprints at The Greenwood Valley Action Track on Saturday night. Fending of challenges by Joe Bednarski, who crashed before the checkered flag and Jeff Furlong, Selinsgrove, who ended up in the second spot. In the third position was Joel VanBuskirk, Selinsgrove, followed by Denny Rinehimer, Bloomsburg, and Todd Hoover, Mt. Pleasant Mills. Chop Slusser, Bloomsburg, was sixth, Skeetz Hockenbrock, Paxinos, was seventh, Brian Kishbaugh, Nescopeck, eighth, and rounding out the top ten were "Hollywood" Good and A.J. Walters.

Chad Thomas scored another Feature win in the Sportsman Micro Sprint division, his seventh of the season. Second to the New Berlin resident was Rick Morris, Catawissa, and third place went to Chop Slusser. In the fourth spot was Earl Hoon, Jr., Elizabethville, fifth went to George Savaren, sixth to Craig Fox, Bloomsburg, seventh to Rick Rubenstein, Bloomsburg and finally, eighth place was taken by Steve Price, Danville.

Jake Starr, Millville, won't be racing against the rookies anymore in Micro Sprint action, his fourth win in the division sends him up to the Regular 270cc Micros. Phil Weisteiger, Bloomsburg, placed second while Larry Sauers, Allenwood, came in third. In the fourth spot was Tammy Schane who beat her son by one spot as Terry Schane, also a Hamlin resident came in fifth. John Casella, Hackettstown, NJ, was sixth, Tony Slusser, Bloomsburg, seventh, and Jared Schall, Hackettstown, NJ, was eighth. The final two spots in the top ten were claimed by Ryan Pitt, Lebanon, and Sean Stolz, Bloomsburg.
