"Victories and podiums are the goals for Moroso"

Brownsburg, Indiana -- February 4, 2008 -- First Kart North America, First Kart USA along with the FirstKart.com race team headed South this week in preparation for the second round of the 2008 Florida Winter Tour (FWT). With several new and returning drivers under the team tent, hopes are high to attain victories and podiums at Moroso Motorsports Park.

Mexican national champion Fidencio Guzman will be back behind the wheel of a First Kart as he competes in the Rotax DD2 class. Guzman heads to the event determined to bring a victory to the team. After pulling double duty in Homestead, Guzman has decided to forego Rotax Senior for the Moroso event. Joining Guzman in the Senior categories will be Costa Rica pilot Jose Hernandez, Mexican Hector Hinojosa and American Paul Montopoli. Hernandez will look to improve on some strong runs in early January while Montopoli will compete in the Rotax Master class. Jose's younger brother Mau Hernandez will pilot the First Kart Cadet in the Mini Max class and now with a weekend and some testing under his belt, will be a threat for victory in the remainder of the series.

Rotax Junior will see a pair of Canadians as Kevin Monteith and Cole Caccivalani will look to take the top two steps of the podium. Both Monteith and Caccivalani have years of experience and come to Florida looking to win.
