April 5, 2010 -- Championship Karting International (CKI) Florida Cup champion Taylor Miinch is set to contest in the WSK North American Series by CKI in the CKI TaG Senior divisions. As a multi-time national level race winner and already crowned champion in 2010, Miinch will look to add to his impressive resume with another national title.

Utilizing a Cory Pollack tuned Top Kart chassis with a P1 Engines prepared Parilla Leopard, Miinch will be one of the favorites in the CKI TaG Senior title chase. With the national campaign rules a little more open, the Californian driver will have to face numerous other chassis and motor combinations as the talent pool will be deep and the competition tough.

"I am excited to get the CKI program started and have a shot at another national championship," expressed the 2009 TaG Junior champ and the 2010 CKI TaG Senior title holder. "CKI puts on a great program and their Florida Cup series was awesome and I can't wait to get started."

Miinch, who garnered free entry into the WSK North American Series by CKI by claiming the CKI TaG Senior Florida Cup championship, has been out of the kart for about a month but has been competing in other forms of motorsports. Recently getting behind the wheel of his American Speed Association (ASA) speed truck, Miinch competed in his first event claiming a solid fifth place result and led five laps in the main event. Looking to score the Rookie-of-the-Year award in the eleven race series, Miinch will get back to his roots this coming weekend (April 9-11th) at the New Castle Motorsports Park facility in New Castle, Indiana.
