Century 21 joins Eastern Creek Karts Racing
The world's largest real estate network, Century 21 has become the latest corporate company to form a partnership with Eastern Creek Karts Racing.
Century 21 will become the naming rights sponsor and dominate the livery on the new Mitsubishi Evo 8 to be driven by Garry Holt in the Australian GT Performance Championship that begins this weekend in Adelaide.
As the world's largest real estate network, Century 21 has 6,500 offices across 66 countries. In Australia Century 21 is the fastest growing Real Estate Network in the country.
There are currently over 300 independently owned and operated offices in the Century 21 System through New South Wales, Queensland, ACT, Western Australia, South Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
"The Century 21 network is made up of a diverse group of franchisees with varied interests - from golf and athletics, to cycling and motor racing -- and we try to accommodate these into our business wherever we can.
"Our support of Eastern Creek Karts Racing extends this commitment to our franchisees, while providing great opportunities for them to get involved and experience the brand in a tangible way. Eastern Creek also offers a valuable amount of exposure and recognition for the Century 21 brand," said Century 21 Chairman Charles Tarbey.
Eastern Creek Karts Racing has also obtained one of the two Mitsubishi franchises available in the GT Performance category with the pair of Evo 8's to be driven by Holt and Garry Young.
After finishing third in last year's Championship Holt has undergone an intensive off-season that has included the building of the new Evo 8 under the guidance of Nigel Bolling and Rob Devonshire.
With the new Evo 8 being stripped to a bare shell before being prepared for the Championship assault the team has left no stone unturned. This preparation has already begun to show return for the team with a successful test day at Wakefield Park where Holt eclipsed his personal best time, which happens to be the track record.
"We finished last year on a high and now with the two car team and the backing of Century 21, it is looking like a very promising year for the team," said Holt.
"Our test at Wakefield Park showed some remarkable improvements in the car and by joining with Garry Young I'm sure we will both be Championship contenders."
Young is a former Mirage Cup Champion and has competed in a variety of categories including Nations Cup and V8 Brutes.
