Zach Veach claims Indy Lights victory in St. Pete

After starting second in the field, this is the first career Indy Lights victory for the 19-year-old native of Stockdale, Ohio.

Zach Veach is the winner of today's Indy Lights race in St. Petersburg, Fla., driving the No. 26 RePLAY XD machine. After starting second in the field, this is the first career Indy Lights presented by Cooper Tires victory (in 13 starts) for the 19-year-old native of Stockdale, Ohio. Veach started and finished fifth on the streets of St. Pete in 2013.

Veach previously raced in the Pro Mazda Championship from 2011-2012 and competed in Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship two consecutive seasons prior, both with Andretti Autosport.
