Brandon Wagner will start from the pole position when the Indy Lights Series competes at Chicagoland Speedway later today. This is Wagner's first pole and the first for Kingdom Racing. Team principal Davey Hamilton missed the celebration as he was on his way to the airport to pick someone up.

Sebastian Saavedra will start second driving for Andretti Green Racing/AFS Racing. Saavedra's teammate, series points leader J. R. Hildebrand, will start 13th after experiencing a fuel pick up problem during his qualifying run.

Wade Cunningham qualified third followed by Mike Potekhen and Pippa Mann.

Ana Beatriz did not take a time in qualifying as her fuel pump broke during her run. Repairs are expected to be completed in time to compete in the race. Beatriz will start at the tail end of the 16 car field.
