Toronto: AFS/Andretti Autosport qualifying report

CHARLIE KIMBALL, ...

CHARLIE KIMBALL, #26 TEAM LEVEMIR® CAR

"That was a busy session. We had a gearbox problem almost all the way through, so I was really fighting with the car and I didn't know what gear I was going to be in. I'm really happy with the result, starting seventh on the grid. We have a really good racecar from everything we saw earlier in the session. The #26 Levemir® car is gonna be quick in race trim. We just have to be smart and take what we can get. We'll have a front-running car tomorrow."

MARTIN PLOWMAN, #27 TEAM AFS RACING/ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT CAR

"That was a very disappointing session for us. The car felt very quick in the morning practice session, but then conditions changed and caught us by surprise. We just didn't have enough grip. It was a very messy session, so we'll just have to put this one behind us and get the car ready for the race. I'll be ready to pass a lot of cars tomorrow."
