Sonoma, Calif. - (August 23, 2009) -- In the Firestone Indy Lights race, Panther driver Martin Plowman collected his third consecutive Top Ten finish with a 10th-place result. Teammate Pippa Mann spun following contact on the course between Turns 2-3 on the first lap of the race. Pippa returned to the track and battled back, despite a broken wing, to finish 14th place.

Martin Plowman, No. 15 Firestone Indy Lights

"It was a very rough day for us at the office today. We rolled the car out of the truck very well yesterday at the first practice but we went didn't follow the track conditions for qualifying and started on the tenth position. For the race we were confident that we had found the solution for our problem, but during the race I had the same issues that I had in qualifying, so it was a very difficult drive. I drove the hardest race of my life and brought the car home with a Top Ten."

Pippa Mann, No. 16 Firestone Indy Lights

"I had contact going trough Turn One through Turn Two and even got clipped by someone else on my left front tire and front wing. The caution came on and when we got going again my tires were completely squared, the steering was bent and the front wing was flapping around, but I kept it running and was able to overtake a couple of cars to finish in 14th spot."
