DETROIT (June 7, 2000) - Monday's Dayton Indy Lights Championship race at the Milwaukee Mile will be telecast in a one-hour show on ESPN2 this Thursday, June 8, at 6 p.m. ET.

The Milwaukee race, Round Two of the 2000 Dayton Indy Lights Championship, was run Monday after Sunday's original race date was rained out. The postponement marked the first time since the 1998 Nazareth event in April of that year that a Dayton Indy Lights race had to be postponed for a day due to weather.

"We are grateful to our partners at ESPN for quickly rescheduling the Milwaukee Dayton Indy Lights Championship race," said Indy Lights President Roger Bailey. "We are also pleased with the time slot in as much as it gives people across the country a chance to see the race in either the early evening or afternoon."

An encore telecast of the Milwaukee race has not been established, but any scheduled reair times in the near future will be announced prior to airing.

Round Three of the Dayton Indy Lights Championship will be run during the Tenneco Automotive Grand Prix of Detroit at the Raceway on Belle Isle, June 18.
