AFS RACING/ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT FIRESTONE INDY LIGHTS NOTES AND QUOTES, POST-RACE DRIVE SMART. BUCKLE-UP! KENTUCKY 100

CHARLIE KIMBALL, #26 TEAM LEVEMIR® FLEXPEN® CAR

"That was a lot of fun. It was pretty tough racing the entire way through. The conditions didn't lend themselves to a track being particularly good, but the Firestone Firehawks held up well. All through the race the #26 Levemir® FlexPen® car kept getting better. We had the pace right at the end, and I could really move forward when I needed to. On to Homestead, where we'll hopefully have a good last shot to get a win before the end of the season."

MARTIN PLOWMAN, #27 TEAM AFS RACING/ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT CAR

"Today was one of those days. We had a great car yesterday but conditions are changing all the time. Our car was just a bit off today. We were struggling from the get-go. The winds were very high to begin with, so the car was handling very differently in turns one and two than three and four. It's obviously disappointing; it's not what we expected or wanted. But we'll come back stronger and come out with a good result in Homestead."
