Will Watkins Glen be the Road to Success for Mishael Abbott in the Indy Pro Series?

INDIANAPOLIS (June 1, 2006) -- Female Indy Pro Series driver, Mishael Abbott is hoping the 29 lap, 11-turn, 3.37-mile road course of the Corning 100 at Watkins Glen International will lead to a victory next Sunday. She has tasted success before at "The Glen" in the Star Mazda Series -- East Championship with a podium finish in 2003 and fifth place in 2004. Driving under Michael Crawford Motorsports, Mishael is eager to race this course again.

"I really enjoy driving road courses and I've had success in the Star Mazda series at Watkins Glen. I'm banking on that experience and knowledge of the course to transfer in the Pro Series and perhaps a good showing here again."

The Indy Pro Series is the premier ladder series for drivers, teams, and sponsors striving to compete in the IndyCar® Series and the Indianapolis 500®. Coral Springs Florida native Mishael Abbott is pursuing dual degrees from Florida Atlantic University in elementary education and currently resides in Indianapolis while studying sports marketing at the University of Indianapolis.
