Western Union to sponsor Infiniti Pro Series season-opener at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
WHO/WHAT: Western Union Financial Services, subsidiary of First Data (NYSE: FDC) will be the official title sponsor for the 2003 IRL Infiniti Pro Series season-opener to be held during the Toyota Indy 300 Weekend.
The Western Union 100 will showcase many of the most promising drivers in open-wheel racing, including Arie Luyendyk Jr., son of IndyCar Series legend Arie Luyendyk, and Ed Carpenter of A.J. Foyt Enterprises. In addition, Western Union is proud to announce that standout Jeff Simmons will drive for Western Union's car number 20 in the 2003 IRL Infiniti Pro Series. Simmons, 26, from New York, has more than 20 years open-wheeled experience and is a two-time Barber Dodge Pro Series champion.
