NICK BUSSELL (No. 21 J.L. West Motorsports Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone): "We are really looking forward to visiting Texas Motor Speedway. It will be a different kind of challenge from previous races, with really close racing in a big pack of cars. The high banks and serious drafting should make for a thrilling race for drivers and fans. We haven't made any significant changes to the car since Indy. It's so frustrating that we don't know why we couldn't find the speed there, but we didn't want to get carried away trying to find the culprit. Texas is a great place. I lived in Houston in 2003, and I've had some good times in Dallas with friends. I expect to have a few of them at the race, so it should be a fun weekend overall."
JAIME CAMARA (No. 1 CELG-Sam Schmidt Motorsports Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone): "I think Texas is one of the best tracks of the season. The 24-degree banking must make it a cool track to drive. Our car has been fast everywhere so far, and I think we have a good shot at the front there, too. This was one of the few races I came and watched from the pit wall last year. I thought it was awesome."
WADE CUNNINGHAM (No. 33 Visit New Zealand Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone): "I think we've just got to do the same thing we've done at Indy, we've done at St. Petersburg. You go out, you work hard during testing, you get the best car setup, you try and work harder than everyone else, and then if you do a have a good package at the end of the race, you can take it to the front and battle for the lead."
JAY DRAKE (No. 20 Vision Racing Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone): "I'm looking forward to going to Texas after having a good run at the (Indianapolis Motor) Speedway in May. I completed my IRL rookie test at Texas a few years ago and seemed to have success with that, so hopefully we'll have a good weekend."
CHRIS FESTA (No. 19 SpacePak/CareCentric/SSM Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone): "I met Sam (Schmidt) at Texas last year for the first time. I'm very excited about the track -- it's a fast track and the team knows how to go fast there. I'm excited to take what we learned at Indianapolis and Homestead and use it to get us up front and back in the points chase."
TRAVIS GREGG (No. 7 Lucas Oil Products Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone): "I raced at TMS last year with Sam (Schmidt Motorsports) and had a great weekend. I was able to qualify on the outside pole and finish second in just my third start. Texas is a great track. I know the racing between me and (2004 Texas race winner) Thiago (Medeiros) was very close. I expect to see drivers going two and three wide in the corners."
