INDIANAPOLIS, Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003 -- Indy Racing League veteran Billy Roe will drive in the final three Infiniti Pro Series races of the season for Kenn Hardley Racing, team officials announced Aug. 19.

Roe, who has competed in two Indianapolis 500-Mile Races, drove for Kenn Hardley Racing in the Kentucky 100 on Aug. 16. He qualified seventh and ran as high as fourth before an electrical problem caused him to finish 12th.

"This is a knowledgeable group of guys who run a great program," Roe said.

Roe has started 17 IRL IndyCar Series events with a best finish of 12th in 2001 at Nashville. In addition to his Pro Series start at Kentucky, Roe also qualified for the Freedom 100 May 17 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He started and finished 14th.

"Billy is a quality driver who will bring a ton of experience and a great attitude to our team," said team owner Kenn Hardley.

The final three 100-mile Infiniti Pro Series races of the season take place Sept. 6 at Chicagoland Speedway, Sept 20 at California Speedway and Oct. 11 at Texas Motor Speedway.

The Infiniti Pro Series is the official development series for the Indy Racing League. All Infiniti Pro Series races are held in conjunction with IRL IndyCara Series events.
