CYNDIE ALLEMANN BACKS UP HER PHOENIX RUN

Avondale, AZ (February 7, 2008) -- American Spirit Racing driver Cyndie Allemann backed up her first day run at the Phoenix International Raceway posting the quickest time of the two day test. Allemann's consistent lap times would have put her on the pole at the 2003 Indy Pro Series event.

"I am very pleased that our test in Phoenix went so well," exclaimed Cyndie. "This is a great way to start, going into the 2008 season. I know I still have some work to do and driving with 20 cars or more on the track is going to be an experience, but I'm looking forward to it. The Team has consistently given me a very good car and every change made it quicker and more predictable. I'm really enjoying being with this Team!"

"Our test here in Phoenix went very well," stated Technical Director and Chief Engineer Rossella Manfrinato. "We came here knowing that we had a lot of work to do and we are leaving very happy that we achieved a lot. Given Cyndie's limited experience with these cars and these kind of tracks, I am extremely pleased with the way she drove and responded to the changes we made to the car. She's very eager to learn and handled this test on a very demanding track, not only being fast, but also consistent."

The team will head back to Indianapolis in preparation for testing later this month at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.
