NEWTON, Iowa. (June 20, 2009) - AFS Racing/Andretti Green Racing drivers J.R. Hildebrand and Sebastian Saavedra finished sixth and 15th, respectively, in Saturday nights running of the Miller Lite 100 Indy Lights race at Iowa Speedway. Hildebrand started tonight's race from the pole and Saavedra started third.

The 2009 Firestone Indy Lights schedule resumes with their next race on July 4, at the Watkins Glen International.

J.R. Hildebrand, #26 AFS Racing/Andretti Green Racing Dallara/Firestone:

"Tonight's race was definitely frustrating for us. We started on the pole, so we knew we had a good car. We also knew we were fighting a bit of understeer in qualifying. With such big condition changes before the race, it made it really tough to get the car set up and the understeer continued to get worse throughout the race. After the drive thru penalty we lost position and had to fight our way back up. It's difficult to pass here and the understeer wouldn't allow us to get close enough to other cars."

Sebastian Saavedra, #27 AFS Racing/Andretti Green Racing Dallara/Firestone:

"It was a disappointing finish for the #27 car. The AFS/AGR guys did a great job all weekend, but unfortunately something broke on the car at the beginning of the race. We had to come in for repair which cost us some laps. It's a shame, but thankfully we brought the car in safely and were able to collect some points."
