Indianapolis: AFS/Andretti Autosport race report

CHARLIE KIMBALL, ...

CHARLIE KIMBALL, #26 TEAM LEVEMIR® FLEXPEN® CAR

"The car wasn't quite there from the first lap. I ran out of tools for adjustments halfway through. I knew Wade was strong and I knew his experience was really going to benefit him here. We had to deal with some lap traffic in the middle. The only shot I had at Wade was too close to the end of the race. It was a solid result for the #26 Levemir® FlexPen® car and I can't wait to get out there again."

MARTIN PLOWMAN, #27 TEAM AFS RACING/ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT CAR

"We had a great start. After the restart, I spent three or four laps pushing Charlie. I slowly started to feel the front of the car go away, but I had maxed out on in-car tools. I was very fast by myself. Unfortunately, I just didn't feel like I had enough to stay in traffic. I feel like the #27 AFS Racing/Andretti Autosport team gave me one of the fastest cars out there. On a positive note, we made up some good ground on the championship. It's still a top five-not exactly what we're looking for, but we're still thinking about the championship."
