Sebastian Saavedra Facts:

* Sits third in the 2009 Firestone Indy Lights championship, five points behind second place.

* Has two wins this season -- one at the Grand Prix of Toronto and the other at Kansas Speedway, which was his first career series win.

* Achieved the first pole position and first podium finish of his Firestone Indy Lights career with a second-place finish in Race #2 at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg back in April.

Sebastian Saavedra on the Miami 100: "Certainly, the championship was our primary goal when the season started and we wish we were racing for that this weekend. But, we still have a good chance to secure second place in the championship and that is what we need to focus on. The easiest way for us to do that is to go out and win the race, and that is definitely our goal. I'm sure it will be a tough race, but I'm looking forward to it."
