EDMONTON, Alberta, Canada. (July 25, 2009) - AFS Racing/Andretti Green Racing drivers J.R. Hildebrand and Sebastian Saavedra finished first and third, respectively, in Saturday's running of the Grand Prix of Edmonton Firestone Indy Lights race at the City Centre Airport. Hildebrand started today's race from the pole position and Saavedra started fifth.

The next Firestone Indy Lights race is the Kentucky 100, August 1 at the Kentucky Speedway.

J.R. Hildebrand, #26 AFS Racing/Andretti Green Racing Dallara/Firestone:

"We were running our own pace and I think the other guys started to fall off a little bit. I was trying to run the same lap time from start to end and the car came to me a little bit as the tires went off, so I didn't have to take too many risks to accomplish that. We were able to bring home another win. It's a great circuit. It keeps you on your toes from top to bottom and front to back. I'm happy for the #26 guys. We had a frustrating weekend in Toronto. Everyone did a great job this weekend, and I couldn't have done it without them. It's easy to start and look further down the line, but if we just keep focusing race to race we'll be there for sure."

Sebastian Saavedra, #27 AFS Racing/Andretti Green Racing Dallara/Firestone:

"For sure, today's race wasn't easy. This track is very physical and demanding. I think we did a nice job on the strategy of saving tires at the beginning. I put pressure on the guys in front of me and it paid off in the end. Finishing one, three for us as a team is what we need for the championship and the rookie of the year."
