Justin qualifies 6th at Watkins Glen

Justin made it through to his fourth Firestone Fast Six of the season at Watkins Glen International and qualified 6th for Sunday's Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen (1:30.2667, 134.402 mph). Will Power took pole position for Team Penske (1:29.3164, 135.832 mph). Paul Tracy, Justin's Dreyer & Reinbold team-mate for this weekend, will line up 12th in the No. 24 Honda Indy Toronto car (1:30.8414).

Justin was 4th quickest in the first of the three qualifying rounds on the harder Firestone tyres and was the only driver to proceed to the second round with two new sets of the softer "reds" still at his disposal. He used the first of these to set the 5th fastest time in round two and had high hopes of using his final set of reds in the Firestone Fast Six to secure a front row starting spot for Sunday's race, but the No. 22 car struggled for grip and Justin couldn't match the quicker times he set in the second round.

"The Z-Line Designs car was good today and I'm happy to be in the Firestone Fast Six," said Justin. "I was pushing it as hard as I could, but I just didn't have the grip I wanted. There was some sand on the track late in the session and I had a moment where the car completely got away from me, so I'm happy to bring it home in one piece. I can't wait to get in the car tomorrow and defend my win here."

For those in the UK, Sky Sports 4 wi have live coverage from 8.30pm BST.
