NEW ONE O'CLOCK START TIME HIGHLIGHTS CAMPING WORLD GRAND PRIX WEEKEND

Watkins Glen, NY (September 30, 2008) -- Officials at Watkins Glen International announced today that the Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen, July 5, 2009 will be broadcast live on ABC. The race is also scheduled to start at 1:00 PM, approximately 2.5 hours sooner than the 2007 and 2008 races. The start time has been moved in support of the feedback that the track received directly from race fans.

"We are very pleased that we were able to work with the IndyCar Series and ABC to establish a green flag time that our fans requested." said Craig Rust, president of Watkins Glen International. "Having our race remain on ABC showcases the Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen to the entire nation, and allows us to continue to expose new fans to the excitement that takes place at Watkins Glen International during the 4th of July holiday weekend."

The 2009 IndyCar Series schedule will feature a total of 18 races with five being broadcast on ABC and the other 13 being broadcast on the cable network VERSUS. The 93rd Indianapolis 500, The Milwaukee Mile, Iowa Speedway, and Toronto will join the Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen on ABC.

VERSUS will carry the other 13 IndyCar Series races for the next 10 years. Fans will be treated to three-hour telecasts, including extended pre-race coverage on race day and a one-hour preview show the day prior to the race. Local fans with Time Warner Cable can find VERSUS on Channel 61 and those with digital Time Warner Cable can find it on Channel 807. Fans with DirecTV that have the Choice Xtra or higher packages can find VERSUS on Channel 608. Dish Network also carries VERSUS and it is available to fans with America's Top 250 and higher packages on Channel 151. Fans in other areas or with other broadcast providers should go to www.VERSUS.com to find VERSUS on their broadcast provider.

The IndyCar Series season kicks-off on the streets of St. Petersburg, FL on April 5th and will be broadcast live on VERSUS. All races will be broadcast live and in HD, regardless of which network carries the race.
