Justin on the pace in Friday practice at Toronto

Justin and Dreyer & Reinbold Racing got straight down to business in Friday's two one hour practice sessions at Exhibition Place, Toronto. Justin was 2nd quickest in the morning and afternoon and led the afternoon session by a clear margin for much of the hour, before Andretti Autosport's Ryan Hunter-Reay took day 1 honours late in the session. Justin's quickest lap was a 1:02.1839 (101.602 mph), just 4 hundredths of a second behind Hunter-Reay (1:02.1433). Tomas Scheckter, Justin's DRR team-mate for this weekend, was 13th fastest in the No. 24 MonaVie car (1:03.0924).

"It's always good to come back to Toronto," said Justin. "It's a track I really enjoy. The Z-Line Designs car was quick today and I think there is still room to try a few more changes tomorrow. The challenge here is to manage the bumpy surface; if you can do that, you can be very successful. I'm looking forward to qualifying tomorrow."

Justin will be back on track for a further one hour practice session on Saturday morning ahead of the afternoon's three-round qualifying session.
