FRIDAY PRACTICE NOTES AND QUOTES

St. Petersburg, FL (April 4, 2008) - Two practice sessions for the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg are now complete, and HVM's EJ Viso is back on track doing what he loves best. There were two one and a half hour sessions today, allowing the teams ample track time

Up next is a 30 minute practice session tomorrow morning, followed by the new qualifying format. The field will be split into two groups, after which the fastest six from each group will transfer to the next round. Out of those 12 drivers, six will advance to the final round and the "Firestone Fast Six" will then compete for the pole position.

"We need to work on improving the car for tomorrow, getting the total package right. We worked on some things today, and improved the car in a few places. I think we have figured some things out, and we will have to work to improve our qualifying package in tomorrow's practice session. The track is really nice, it's a great facility to hold an IndyCar race, but there is no room for mistakes, and we saw that today with a lot of people in the wall. With the track not allowing too much space for overtaking, it is crucial to qualify well although anything can happen in the race."

Keith Wiggins, Team Owner:

"The team and driver are busy working on their programs and so we are looking forward to making some good progress tomorrow. It's good to be back racing in St. Pete and now we need to work on having a good performance on Sunday.
