QUICK TRIM DRIVER RAHAL SEVENTH IN PRACTICE FOR THE INDY GRAND PRIX OF SONOMA; FORMULA DREAM/PANASONIC DRIVER MUTOH TENTH

Graham Rahal, No. 02 Quick Trim Dallara/Honda/Firestone: "I think that the end result in the session was okay. We put sticker tires on at the end of the session and were competitive. Like Mid-Ohio, we have a lot of work to do. We aren't where we need to be yet but we are working hard to get there. We threw new tires on the Quick Trim car at the end and set the seventh fastest time which is a little higher up than we realistically are. But then again we started a lot earlier in the session than most of these guys. When we went out there was really no one other than Kanaan that had put a time down. We'll work hard overnight and see where we stack up tomorrow."

Hideki Mutoh, No. 06 Formula Dream/Panasonic Dallara/Honda/Firestone: "The session was messy; there were a lot of yellows. It was difficult to get into a rhythm but it was the same for everybody. We made three or four changes and found two good things for tomorrow so that's very good. We were planning to put a second set of tires on at the end of the session but the yellows prevented that. The Formula Dream/Panasonic car is quite good car."
