Justin eager for good result at Sonoma

Justin and Dreyer & Reinbold Racing are eager to finish their 2010 road and street course campaign on a high note as they prepare for Sunday's Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma at Infineon Raceway. Justin and DRR team-mate for this weekend, JR Hildebrand, took part in a test here a week ago and the No. 22 car was third quickest. Justin's hoping that he and the team will shake off their recent run of bad luck and give California-based sponsor Z-Line Designs a podium at their home event.

Known to many as Sears Point, the 2.22 mile track is one of the toughest circuits on the IZOD IndyCar Series schedule. Adding further to the challenge is managing Justin's thumb ligament injury which he sustained during in a qualifying crash with Ryan Briscoe at Mid-Ohio. So as well as dialling the car in, Justin and the team used last week's test to find a comfortable way of dealing with the injury that won't compromise Justin's pace.

"I'm really looking forward to returning to Sonoma," said Justin. "It's a challenging race track where it's tough to find a good balance for the car. I think our test last week went well and I hope that will put us in good shape. The big test was with my thumb after tearing the ligaments in Mid-Ohio. After a few runs I was able to find a more comfortable bracing and style of driving that allowed me to be more competitive."
