A.J. Foyt IV - No. 2 Lilly Diabetes/Vision Racing Dallara/Honda/Firestone
On qualifying: "It was kind of a messed up qualifying with two yellows and it left us just one set of tires and five (5) laps. We did a pretty decent lap compared to what we had been doing in practice. It was just a tenth off our best lap all weekend. Maybe if we had had a little more time out there, we might have improved our time even more, but it was also bad luck for us to fall into the tougher qualifying group too."
Ed Carpenter - No. 20 Menards/Vision Racing Dallara/Honda/Firestone
On qualifying: "I'm not exactly happy with qualifying. I was just a little bit better than this morning, but in the overall ranking I actually dropped positions so that's disappointing. The track changed a little bit and I felt like that some of the changes we made ended up being opposite of what the track ended up doing. We'll chalk that up as a new experience. It's still been a good weekend for us as we have gone faster, but with the positive way things were going, I really thought I would be able to put the Menards car and the team in a better qualifying position than I did. That's the part that is disappointing."
