Justin qualifies 13th at Nashville Superspeedway

Justin will start from 13th in Saturday night's Firestone Indy 200 at Nashville's 1.33 mile concrete superspeedway. The result was the No. 02 McDonald's team's best qualifying effort on an oval this season. Justin's times in the four qualifying laps were: L1: 23.1876s, L2: 23.1528s, L3: 23.1645s and L4: 23.1697s yielding a four-lap average speed of 201.997 mph. His Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing team-mate Graham Rahal qualified 10th (202.561 mph). Helio Castroneves took pole position for Team Penske (204.519 mph).

"I'm pretty pleased with the qualifying result," said Justin. "It's very bumpy here, but it's like all of these ovals; the better the car, the more you enjoy the track. The McDonald's car is slowly getting better and better and I'm hoping we'll be able to get the car to work well in the race. The race set-up is critical, because if you're struggling for grip then that makes running in traffic a nightmare. We've done well this year at finding a good balance on race day and hopefully we'll be OK."
