Mike Hull on Mid-Ohio Test Last Week: "Our Target guys had a great tune-up at Mid-Ohio. Dario concentrated on the continued development of road track team technology. Scott worked for the IZOD IndyCar Series on a full Carbon Brake Rotor package comparison that's under consideration for the future."

Dario Franchitti and the No. 10 Target Team

Streaking: Since his 18th-place finish at Iowa June 20th, Franchitti has not finished off of the podium. He is also hoping to add to his qualifying steak. In the last seven races this season, he has not qualified outside of the top-five.

Heating Up: Franchitti comes into Mid-Ohio with two top-three finishes in his last two races at the track-- a second in 2007 and a third in 2009.

Points: After his podium at Edmonton, Franchitti remains second in the championship with 370 points - just 50 points behind leader Will Power.

Scott Dixon and the No. 9 Target Team

On The Verge: A win at Mid-Ohio this weekend would move Dixon into a tie with Emerson Fittipaldi for first all-time in wins (CART, IndyCar Series) at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with three.

Testing: During the off week, Target Chip Ganassi Racing visited Mid-Ohio for a test session along with 16 other drivers. Dixon participated in a carbon fiber brake test at the request of the IZOD IndyCar Series for potential use in the 2012 IndyCar Safety Cell.

Points: With his win at Edmonton, Dixon remains third in the championship standings with 349 points -- 71 points out of the top spot.
