Justin aiming high at Long Beach
Justin and Dreyer & Reinbold Racing are looking forward to making their mark at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in California this Sunday. This is the final street/road course on the 2010 IZOD IndyCar Series schedule until July and the 1.968 mile temporary circuit around the streets of Long Beach represents unfinished business for Justin. He got caught up in a pile-up at the Turn 11 hairpin last year and in 2008 he started on pole only to suffer retirement with an engine failure. After a strong start to his 2010 campaign, Justin is hoping that the No. 22 Z-Line Designs car will be running at the front once again.
"I'm really looking forward to Long Beach," said Justin. "We've learned a lot over the last couple races and I think that we can both be quick there and both can challenge for the front row. That should be the target. We have the capability and we showed at Barber that we can work it out and have two cars that we can push hard the whole time. It will be good to see what happens."
Justin spoke to JW TV after the Barber race about the season so far and his thoughts about Long Beach and the first oval race at Kansas. To watch the video, click on the JW TV icon.
