Long Beach: Andretti Autosport race report

MARCO ANDRETTI, ...

MARCO ANDRETTI, #26 TEAM VENOM ENERGY DRINK CAR

* Finished the race in 14th place

"Today was just one of those days when things don't go your way. Track position was so important and we just kept giving it away. We bent the front wing twice and had to change the whole front nose so that set us back. We just weren't able to get back where we needed to be. It was a disappointing finish for the Venom car but a great day for team. Ryan (Hunter-Reay) drove a great race and had a strong car. I'm really happy to see Andretti Autosport in victory lane."

RYAN HUNTER-REAY, #37 TEAM IZOD CAR

* Won the 2010 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach

* Second IZOD IndyCar Series win

"This is unbelievable, to put it all together with all the IZOD people here this weekend. This is a race that means a lot to me. This is the 'Indy 500' of street courses. I've been watching this race since I was a little kid. To do it right now -- the timing is unreal. We've been working so hard on this IZOD car and on this team. To do it in our fourth race - we feel like we're just getting started. This is a snowball that is just starting to roll."

TONY KANAAN, #11 TEAM 7-ELEVEN CAR

* Finished P5, after qualifying P6

"I'm really happy for the team. We finally got a win and Ryan (Hunter-Reay) deserved it; he had a good car. The Team 7-Eleven car had a consistent run, not as fast as I would have liked it to be, but we were able to finish in the top-five. All around it was a good day."

DANICA PATRICK, #7 TEAM GoDaddy.com CAR

* Finished in 16th place, moving up four spots from qualifying

"Today's race was definitely challenging, and the result doesn't show how hard the GoDaddy crew worked. It's been a frustrating weekend all around for the #7 car. But I'm so happy that my teammate Ryan (Hunter-Reay) won. His win is great for the #37 guys and Andretti Autosport as a whole."
